This is what to do if you are not happy with
the care that you get from your social care service
1. Tell staff at the social care service.
- Tell them why you are not happy with the care that you
get.
- If they are a good social care service they will listen to
what you have to say and help you solve any problems.
- If they can’t help you solve the problem they should tell you
why not.
- Staff at the social care service should tell you exactly what
to do if you are not happy with care that you get.
2. You can tell the social services department of your
local council.
This is only if the service is run by the council or if the
council pays for your care.
