About the services directory
What's in the directory?
When you search for a care home or care service you will
find:
- details of the service it offers and for how many
people
- our reports about the care home or care
service
- a quality rating for the service making it
easier to compare it with others.
The reports say what the service does well and list any
improvements they need to make.
They can help you make an informed choice about
which service is the right one for you.

Can't find what you're looking for?
Ask your council if there is a support service
you are interested in that isn’t registered with us. Your
council should be able to tell you about what services they
offer and how they can help.

Children's services
Since April 2007, children's social care services have been
inspected by Ofsted.
