We believe it is important to involve people who use services
and carers in our work, as it will help to make sure that they are
properly listened to.
We have worked with 3 other social care and health organisations
to agree 8 main points for involving people.
The 8 main points tell you the least you can
expect when working with us and the following
organisations:
- General Social Care Council
- Skills for Care
- Social Care Institute for Excellence.
Any organisation that wants to involve people who use services
and carers in their work can use these 8 main points.
Paying people for their involvement
We think it is important to pay people for their involvement
with us. The leaflet below tells you about our different rates of
pay, and how we will pay you for your involvement.
