Who is an expert by experience?
Our definition of someone with experience of
using social care services includes:
- people who are using services now or have done in the past
- people who need services but haven't been offered them
- people who need services but haven't been offered any that are
appropriate
- people living with or caring for a person who uses
services.
We involve people who use services in our work and call them
Experts by experience.
